Jolene is an artist who grew up in Syracuse, NY, a city that remains close to her heart. She works across painting, weaving and installation to depict or influence patterns of movement in people and the places they inhabit. Awareness of social interactions- patterns of gathering or isolation- lead to projects about moments within these social rhythms. She seeks collaboration across disciplines and strives to support the role of art and design in communities. In 2017 Jolene completed a BFA in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design.
